my stay exceeded expectations! the staff were incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. the double room was spacious and equipped with a comfy bed, and breakfast had delicious locally sourced ingredients, setting a great tone for my day.

wi-fi connection was frustratingly slow.

The room was nice and clean, but the shower felt too small for me. The bed was comfy, and there was plenty of tea and coffee available. the lighting took some figuring out, and I nearly burnt myself on the towel rail. It was a good space overall, but could do with a bit of updating.

Comfort with a touch of nostalgia

So, we stayed for a night and had a four-poster room, which was super comfy! Loved the jacuzzi bath after a long day. The breakfast was a bit off tho. my egg was kinda hard and beans felt like they'd been sitting for ages. Staff were amazing, though! Would def come back because it's close to family.

I recently stayed here while attending a family wedding, and it was a lovely experience. The venue for the wedding was beautifully arranged, and the food served was absolutely delicious. Our room was modern, spacious, and impeccably clean. Breakfast options were excellent, with both continental and cooked meals included. Perfect family stay!

Had a fab time with my family! Huge rooms, comfy beds, and they even had Yorkshire Gold tea in the room. Staff were super friendly and the food in the lounge bar? Delicious! Just wished breakfast had a bit more variety, but it’s all good. Don't miss out on those desserts!

Had a great time with friends exploring the nearby Peak District and visiting historic Chatsworth House. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was top-notch! Just a heads-up, heard the beds might not be the comfiest, but they’re refurbishing rooms, so it’ll improve. Definitely recommend this spot!

Only downside was the shower didn’t get very hot, but it was manageable during peak morning hours.
